Kym was the maester assigned to Riverrun when Lord Hoster Tully's children were young.[1] He is deceased,[2] and Riverrun's maester is now Vyman.[3]

Old Maester Kym prepared moon tea for Lysa Tully when she was pregnant with Petyr Baelish's child.[2]
