Robin is one of the lordlings who go south with Lady Catelyn Stark to meet with Renly Baratheon. When a half-day's ride from Renly's camp near Bitterbridge, Robin ranges ahead to scout and spots a lookout on a distant windmill. By the time, Catelyn's party arrives at the mill, the scout is gone and Renly's outriders escort them to his camp.[4] After Renly's sudden death near Storm's End, Robin and the rest of Catelyn's party return to Riverrun.[5]

Robin, one of Robb's sworn swords,[6] commands the rearguard for the King in the North as his column marches to the Twins for Lord Edmure Tully's wedding,[7] and he attends Robb's meeting with Lord Roose Bolton.[8]
