I'm working on a revamp of the List of Characters. Slowly but surely.

Notes:

  • Characters are listed by their "last name" or "family name". Given names and other aliases are included, but they point to the proper listing.
  • Some titles are included. Currently:
    • King and Queen for all reigning monarchs and their spouses
    • Lord and Lady for all reigning lords or ladies and their spouses. Other nobles, who are usually addressed as Lord and Lady as a courtesy, are not included.
    • Lord Commander for the Night's Watch
    • Other titles including Ser, Maester, Archmaester, Grandmaester, Septon, and Septa
    • High Septon is included as a name in and of itself.
  • Maesters, Septons, and Septas give up their family names, so are only included under their given names. High Septons give up all names, and are only included under High Septon.

Sources:

  • The main novels (AGOT, ACOK, ASOS, AFFC, ADWD, TWOW, ADOS)
  • The novellas (THK, TSS, TMK, TPATQ, TRP)
  • Other works (TWOIAF, AWOIAF, TLOIAF)
