Allar Deem is a member of the City Watch of King's Landing and one of Janos Slynt's most ardent supporters. He is feared on the streets.[1]

Obeying the orders of Queen Cersei Lannister, he kills Barra, the bastard daughter of the late king Robert I, who is still an infant, and her mother who tries to stop him.[1]

Lord Janos Slynt places him first on the list of potential successors at the head of the City Watch that he submits to Tyrion Lannister, without knowing that it's enough to condemn all those men to be sent with him to the Night's Watch. According to Tyrion Lannister's orders, Allar Deem is to be thrown overboard during the crossing toward Eastwatch-by-the-sea.[1]
