Amerei Frey is the eldest daughter of Merrett Frey and Mariya Darry. She is known primarily for her promiscuity, which has earned her the nickname "Gatehouse Ami" (as she will raise her portcullis for anyone).
Contents
History
When she was young, Amerei was discovered in the stables having sex with three wranglers at the same time. This led her parents to marry her to a knight of humble beginnings.
Recent Events
A Storm of Swords
Amerei was among the Frey women presented to Robb Stark when he came to the Twins for Lord Edmure Tully's wedding.[1]
A Feast for Crows
Widowed, Amerei is remarried to Lancel Lannister in order to ease the change of allegiance of the Freys after the Red Wedding. This allows Lancel to inherit the Darry lands, though Lancel, having discovered a devout piety to the Faith, shows an interest in neither his wife nor his lands. Amerei is strongly suspected to have continued her promiscuous ways even after her marriage, much to her new husband's ambivalence.
Appearance
Described as having a pinched nose and being chinless, according to Jaime Lannister she is still at least moderately attractive.
