Amerei Frey is the eldest daughter of Merrett Frey and Mariya Darry.[1] She is known primarily for her promiscuity, which has earned her the nickname Gatehouse Ami, as she will raise her portcullis for anyone.[2]

Appearance
According to Jaime Lannister, Amerei is attractive but has a pinched, chinless face. Around eighteen years old, she has long legs and full breasts.[3]
History
When she was young, Amerei was discovered in the stables having sex with three grooms at the same time. This led her parents to marry her to Pate of the Blue Fork, a knight of humble beginnings.[4]
Recent Events
A Clash of Kings
Amerei's husband, Pate, is slain by Ser Gregor Clegane during the War of the Five Kings, making her a widow.
A Storm of Swords
Amerei is among the Frey women presented to King Robb Stark when he comes to the Twins for Lord Edmure Tully's wedding.[5]
A Feast for Crows
Amerei is married to Lancel Lannister, the new Lord of Darry, in order to ease the change of allegiance of the Freys after the Red Wedding. This allows Lancel to strengthen his claim on the Darry lands, though Lancel, having discovered a devout piety to the Faith, shows an interest in neither his wife nor his lands. Amerei is strongly suspected to have continued her promiscuous ways even after her marriage, much to her new husband's ambivalence. When Jaime Lannister's knights visit Castle Darry, she sobs that outlaws murdered her father, Merrett Frey. Ser Harwyn Plumm, the commander of Castle Darry's new garrison, has promised to bring Amerei the head of the leader of the outlaws, Beric Dondarrion. She also charms Ser Lyle Crakehall into agreeing to hunt the outlaws near her lands after the resolution of Riverrun.[3]
Lancel tells Jaime that he intends to renounce his lordship over Darry and his unconsummated marriage with Amerei.[3]
