Ser Amos Bracken was a knight from House Bracken. His father was Lord Humfrey Bracken of Stone Hedge and his bastard half-brother was Ser Raylon Rivers.[1]
History
Amos defeated Samwell Blackwood in a duel when Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen visited the Trident in 112 AC, as the rivals unsuccessfully fought for her hand.[2]
House Bracken declared for the greens during the Dance of the Dragons, while House Blackwood supported the blacks. Amos cut down Lord Samwell during the Battle of the Burning Mill, only to then be slain by a weirwood arrow allegedly fired by Samwell's sister, Black Aly. Ser Raylon Rivers led the Bracken survivors back to the Stone Hedge, which had been stormed in the meantime by Prince Daemon Targaryen.[1]
