The Battle of Summerhall was actually three battles fought in one day at the ruins of the Targaryen castle Summerhall during Robert's Rebellion.

Prelude

Robert Baratheon managed to return to Storm's End and called his bannermen in rebellion against King Aerys II, however some of the storm and river lords remained loyal to King Aerys and rejected his commands. The lords of Houses Fell, Cafferen and Grandison were going to join forces at Summerhall and march on Storm's End to confront Lord Robert Baratheon. Robert, catching wind of it, raced with his forces to meet them.

Battle

Not much is known about the battle, only that Robert managed to arrive first and won three battles in a single day, defeating the forces of the three loyalist houses in turn as they arrived. Additionally, Robert killed Lord Fell in single combat.[1]

Aftermath

Robert consolidated his power in the Stormlands, winning the support of the rest of the lords, which allowed him to march towards the Reach with no enemy loose in his rear.

Lord Fell was killed and his son Silveraxe, Lord Grandison and Lord Cafferen were captured and taken to Storm's End as prisoners. They would later join the rebel cause after some time spent in captivity and would later die fighting for Robert.[1]
