Bellegere Otherys, also known as the Black Pearl of Braavos, was a pirate queen as well as a mistress of King Aegon IV Targaryen.

History

According to semi-canon sources, Bellegere was the fourth of Aegon IV Targaryen's mistresses. She was preceded by Cassella Vaith and followed by Barba Bracken.[1] She was the daughter of a son of the Sealord and a princess from the Summer Islands.

Bellegere's daughter by Aegon IV, granddaughter, great-granddaughter and great-great-granddaughter were courtesans in Braavos who were also called the Black Pearl of Braavos.[2]

Appearance

She was as black as a pot of ink.
