Cayn is a guard sworn to House Stark.[1] He has a son, Calon.[2]

Recent Events

A Game of Thrones

As a guard of House Stark, Cayn accompanies Lord Eddard Stark to King's Landing. He is one of the few northern guardsmen that remains after the death of Jory Cassel and his men and the departure of Alyn and his men.[3] After the death of King Robert I Baratheon, Cayn is slain by Sandor Clegane during the arrest of Eddard.[4]
