[[Theon Greyjoy]] travels to [[Moat Cailin]] under a peace banner to present [[Ramsay Bolton]]'s terms of rendition to the [[Ironborn]] garrison guarding its three towers.  When Theon looks up he can see pale faces peering through the broken masonry that crowns the Children's Tower.  Once inside the gatehouse a guard tells Theon that [[Dagon Codd]] went over to the Children's Tower a few days ago, there were only two men left alive, and they were eating the dead ones.  Codd killed them both. {{Ref|aDwD|20}}

The Children's Tower is one of the three towers that remain at Moat Cailin.

About

It is tall and slender and green with moss. It has only half of its crenelations of its crown, it looks as if some great beast has taken a bite out of the crenellations along the tower top, a spit the rubble across the bog. [1] It's shattered top is open to the wind and the rain. Legend has it that the children of the forest called upon their gods here to send the hammer of the waters. [2] [3]

A Dance with Dragons

Theon Greyjoy travels to Moat Cailin under a peace banner to present Ramsay Bolton's terms of rendition to the Ironborn garrison guarding its three towers. When Theon looks up he can see pale faces peering through the broken masonry that crowns the Children's Tower. Once inside the gatehouse a guard tells Theon that Dagon Codd went over to the Children's Tower a few days ago, there were only two men left alive, and they were eating the dead ones. Codd killed them both. [4]
