Crossed Elms is a village located west of the Gods Eye in the riverlands. It was the site of a skirmish during the Dance of the Dragons.

History

As Ser Criston Cole's greens traveled south along the western shore of the Gods Eye, the river lords allied with the blacks practiced scorched earth tactics, burning their forests and villages. In order to frighten the greens, the blacks arranged dead men in grotesque mockeries of feasts. Prior to the Butcher's Ball, Criston's outriders were attacked at Crossed Elms by men disguised as feasting corpses, losing twelve men before realizing Black Trombo's ruse.[1][2]
