Maester Culiper was a maester of the Citadel who served House Targaryen of Dragonstone during the reign of Jaehaerys I Targaryen.[1]
History
Culiper served Rhaena Targaryen on Dragonstone. He was the first to die on the island in 54 AC, which became known as the Year of the Stranger. He was struck down by a mysterious illness. Several of Rhaena's close friends also died of the disease. It was later revealed that Rhaena's alienated and emasculated husband, Androw Farman, had actually poisoned them in petty revenge against his wife, who he felt had belittled him.
