Eddard Karstark, affectionately called Edd by his sister Alys, is the second son of Lord Rickard Karstark.[1] He is named after Eddard Stark.[2]
Recent Events
A Game of Thrones
Eddard accompanies his father and his two brothers Harrion and Torrhen to Winterfell when Robb Stark calls his banners.[2] He is a member of Robb's personal guard during the battle in the Whispering Wood. Eddard and Torrhen are both killed by Ser Jaime Lannister during the battle.[3]
