Elinor Massey was a member of House Massey during the reign of King Aegon III Targaryen.[2]

History

Elinor was a possible marriage candidate for King Aegon III Targaryen. She was one of the many maidens who suffered what was called the "Maiden's Day curse" by being injured or scandalized after the Maiden's Day Ball was announced. In Elinor's case, a tale of her deflowering became common gossip in the court. It was possible that it was merely a fabricated rumor, but either way, the gossip was likely set in motion by Lord Unwin Peake, the Hand of the King, who wished to promote his own daughter as Aegon III's second queen.[2]
