Ella Broome was a noblewoman from House Broome. She was the younger sister of Lady Lucinda Tully.[1]

Character

Ella was a modest maid.[1]

History

Ella was briefly offered as a match for Jaehaerys I Targaryen.[2][1] Later on, she became a lady-in-waiting to his wife, Queen Alysanne Targaryen.[1]

Behind the Scenes

It is possible she is a reference to Cinderella, due to the name, "Ella," coming from House Broome (Cinderella was made to sweep for her sisters), being a modest sister, and her proposed marriage to King Jaehaerys mirroring Prince Charming.
