Season 6 of Game of Thrones is the sixth season of the series. The series will consists of ten episodes and will air in 2016. The season is set to premiere in April, 2016.[1]
Season 6 is closely based on parts of the novels in the A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R. R. Martin.
