Garth was among the Night's Watch army that marched out from Castle Black in search of Benjen Stark and Mance Rayder. He survived the Battle of the Fist of the First Men. He was one of those who complained loudly at Craster's Keep. During the mutiny he was killed by Garth Greenaway.[1]
