Lord Gawen Westerling is Lord of the Crag and head of House Westerling.

History

He once offered his daughter, Jeyne, as a match for either Martyn or Willem Lannister. He was rejected.[1]

Recent Events

A Game of Thrones

Lord Gawen was a member of Ser Jaime Lannister's host besieging Riverrun. He was captured during the Battle of the Whispering Wood.[2]

A Clash of Kings

After being captured, Lord Gawen was held at Seagard during his imprisonment.[3] After his daughter, Jeyne married Robb Stark he was freed although they married without his consent.[4]

A Storm of Swords

Lord Gawen was pardoned by the Iron Throne after the Red Wedding.[5]
