The Goodwife was the first fool at the royal court in the Red Keep, brought by Queen Alysanne Targaryen during the early reign of Jaehaerys I Targaryen.[1]
Character and Appearance
The Goodwife was a fat man who dressed as a woman and said ribald, shocking things with his wooden "children", a pair of carved puppets.[1]
History
The Goodwife was one among the many artists brought by Queen Alysanne after Jaehaerys I began to rule in his own right.
When Queen Alysanne relocated to Dragonstone following the death of Prince Aegon, the Goodwife went along the lady attendants of the queen.[2]
