Highgarden is the seat of House Tyrell in the Reach.

History

It was once the seat of House Gardener, but when that line was destroyed on the Field of Fire, Harlen Tyrell, the steward of the Gardeners surrendered it to Aegon I. He recieved it and the title of lord paramount of the reach for that action.[1]
