Ser Horys Hill was a hedge knight who led Poor Fellows during the Faith Militant uprising against King Maegor I Targaryen.[1]
History
Ser Horys was a bastard from the westerlands. During the first days of the reign of King Maegor I Targaryen, Horys led thousands of Poor Fellows from the west towards King's Landing.[1]
In 42 AC, Horys was defeated by the royal army in the battle at the Great Fork but managed to escape. His reputation was tarnished, however, and new leaders emerged among the Poor Fellows, such as Septon Moon, Ragged Silas, and Dennis the Lame.[1]
In 45 AC, Ser Horys led three hundred Poor Fellows in an effort to prevent the burning of Jeyne Poore. King Maegor had anticipated this, however, and had his men ready for an attack. Horys died in the ensuing ambush.[1]
