House Belmore of Strongsong is a noble house from Strongsong in the Vale. They are one of the more powerful noble houses sworn to House Arryn. Their arms are six silver bells on purple, 3-2-1.[1][3] Their words do not appear in the books.

Traits

Members of House Belmore tend to have red hair.[4][1]

History

The Belmores are of First Man origin. During the Andal invasion, they allied with Robar II Royce against the Andals. Robar's forces were defeated in the Battle of the Seven Stars, however, and the Belmores submitted to Artys I Arryn, the new King of Mountain and Vale.[2]

The Belmores support Lord Yohn Royce in pressuring Lady Lysa Arryn to enter the War of the Five Kings.[5]
