House Brune of Brownhollow is a house of landed knights from Brownhollow, which is located in Crackclaw Point in the crownlands.[1] According to semi-canon sources they blazon their arms with a bear paw, brown on white, within a double tressure brown.[2] Their words are not known.

The Brunes of Brownhollow are cousins to the Brunes of the Dyre Den.[3]

Brunes were with Prince Rhaegar Targaryen at the Battle of the Trident during Robert's Rebellion.[4]

Lothor Brune, distant kin to the Brunes of Brownhollow, visited the family after his father died. The Brunes sent Lothor away, however, claiming he was not of their blood.[1]
