House Charlton is a noble house from the riverlands. They are a vassal house of House Frey of the Crossing.[1] They blazon their arms with three sprigs of mistletoe, green and red, on gold within a green border.[2][1]

History

House Charlton fought other river lords for control of the riverlands in the century after the fall of House Justman.[3]

Lord Theo Charlton supported Harwyn Hoare, King of the Iron Islands, against the Storm King Arrec Durrandon in the battle at Fairmarket.[3]

Lord Jon Charlton fought for the blacks at the Battle by the Lakeshore, where he died.[4]

Ser Clarence Charlton took part in the Whitewalls tourney. He was soundly defeated by Ser Tommard Heddle.[5]

At some point the Charltons became vassals of House Frey,[1] who began construction of the Twins six hundred years ago.
