House Cuy of Sunhouse is a noble house from Sunhouse[1] in the Reach, sworn to the Hightowers. Sunhouse is located by the town Cuy, along the coast southeast of Oldtown.[2]

Neither their arms or their words appear in the text. According to semi-canon sources they blazon their shield as six yellow flowers on blue.[3]

History

The Cuys trace their ancestry back to Andal adventurers given lands and wives by the Three Sage Kings of House Gardener during the Andal Invasion.[4]

Dunk spotted a blue pavilion covered with sunflowers, possibly a use of the colors and sigil of House Cuy, while attending the Whitewalls Tourney.[5]
