The Leygoods trace their ancestry back to Andal adventurers given lands and wives by the Three Sage Kings of House Gardener during the Andal Invasion.[3]

Ser Simon Leygood was a suitor for Lady Rohanne Webber's hand.[1]

As men of the Reach, the Leygoods presumably fight with the Tyrell-Lannister army at the Battle of the Blackwater.

A Feast for Crows

Leygoood men march with Lord Randyll Tarly's force, pacifying the Crownlands after the Blackwater. Brienne of Tarth spots a shield bearing the three thunderbolts of Leygood among those that had been collected from the dead after the Battle of Duskendale.[4] She also encounters a guard wearing the badge of House Leygood at the gates of Maidenpool.
