House Morrigen of Crow's Nest is a noble house from Crow's Nest in the stormlands.

Their arms are a black crow in flight on storm-green.[3][4] Their motto does not appear in the books.

History

Dickon Morrigen was killed alongside the Bastard of Blackhaven by Meraxes during the Last Storm.[5]

Ser Damon the Devout, the captain of the Warrior's Sons, died during a trial of seven involving King Maegor I Targaryen.[6]

Ser Gyles Morrigen was a Lord Commander of the Kingsguard for Jaehaerys I Targaryen.[7]

Ser Grance Morrigen participated in the tourney at Ashford Meadow.[8]

Lord Morrigen had a territorial dispute with Lord Armond Connington.[9]

Recent Events

A Clash of Kings

The Morrigens are among the storm lords who choose to fight for Renly Baratheon during the War of the Five Kings.[10] Ser Guyard Morrigen, known as Guyard the Green, is a member of King Renly's Rainbow Guard.[10] The Morrigens turn to King Stannis Baratheon after Renly's death.[11]

The van of Stannis's army is placed under the command of Guyard, who then leads the foot during the attack on King's Landing.[3] However, Guyard is slain at the Battle of the Blackwater by Ser Garlan Tyrell, who is disguised as Renly.[12]

Lord Lester Morrigen remains loyal to Stannis after the Blackwater.[13][1]

A Dance with Dragons

According to a semi-canon source, Lester has accompanied Stannis to the north.[14]

Ser Tristan Rivers leads the taking of Crow's Nest by the Golden Company.[9]
