House Serry of Southshield rules over Southshield, the southernmost of the Shield Islands of the Reach.
Their blazon is a white rose upon a red escutcheon upon white, within a red embattled border.[1][2] Their motto has not appeared in the books.

History
The Shield Islands are a considerable sea strength and were the first line of defense during the days when the ironborn raiders tried to sail up the Mander to sack the wealth of the Reach.
Recent Events
A Feast for Crows
Ser Talbert Serry defends the Shield Islands against the ironborn, and dies in a duel with Victarion Greyjoy. After the Battle of the Shield Islands and the death of his son and heir, Lord Osbert Serry is reported to have fled to Highgarden.
House Serry at the end of the third century
The known Serrys during the timespan of the events described in A Song of Ice and Fire are:

- Ser {Talbert Serry}, His son. Heir to Southshield.
