Jeyne Merryweather was a member of House Merryweather during the reign of kings Viserys I, Aegon II and Aegon III Targaryen. She, Jeyne Mooton and Jeyne Smallwood were known as the three Jeynes.[2]
History
Jeyne was a possible marriage candidate for King Aegon III Targaryen. She was one of the many maidens injured or scandalized, and suffered what was called the "Maiden's Day curse". Not long after the Maiden's Day Ball was announced, it was put about that Jeyne Merryweather liked to dress in squire's garb, visiting the brothels along the Street of Silk to kiss and fondle the women there as if they were boys. It was possible that this was a rumor fabricated by Lord Unwin Peake, who wished to promote his own daughter as Aegon III's second queen.[2]
