Joy Hill is the bastard daughter of Gerion Lannister.[2] Her father died when she was young and her mother is never mentioned.

Character
According to her cousin Jaime Lannister, she is a sweet child but a lonely one since her father disappeared.[3]
Recent Events
A Storm of Swords
As part of the pact between Lord Tywin Lannister and Lord Walder Frey concerning the betrayal of Robb Stark, Joy was to wed a natural son of Lord Walder.[4]
A Feast for Crows
As part of the deal with Sybell Spicer, Lord Tywin had promised Joy to marry Ser Raynald Westerling, Sybell's eldest son. Sybell was not happy at finding out who Lord Tywin had meant when she had been promised a bride from Casterly Rock.[3] However, she had also been promised to one of Walder Frey's natural sons as part of the alliance that led to the Red Wedding.[4]
