The Kingswood is a large forest that lies across the Blackwater Rush from King's Landing.

It is the private hunting area for the King of Westeros. However, some smallfolk live in the Kingswood and it was the hideout of the infamous outlaws, the Kingswood Brotherhood.[1]

Robert Baratheon is out hunting in the Kingswood where he gets mortally wounded by a boar.
