A Dance with Dragons

Lady Leona is present along with her daughters, Wynafryd and Wylla, when Lord Davos Seaworth attempts to persuade Lord Wyman Manderly to support King Stannis Baratheon. She insults Davos out of fear for her husband's safety—Ser Wylis is a hostage of the Iron Throne—fearing that if Wyman declares his support for Stannis her beloved husband will suffer for it. When Wylla refuses to stop demanding House Manderly's loyalty to House Stark and that her grandfather Wyman should support Stannis, Leona drags her from the Merman's Court.[2]

Quotes by Leona

Davos: I have a string of titles too. Lord of the Rainwood, Admiral of the Narrow Sea, Hand of the King.
Leona: An admiral without ships, a hand without fingers, in service to a king without a throne. Is this a knight who comes before us, or the answer to a child's riddle?[2]

Davos Seaworth and Leona

The Seven defend White Harbor. We do not fear your red queen or her god. Let her send what spells she will. The prayers of godly men will shield us against evil.[2]

—Leona to Davos Seaworth
