Episode 1: The Heirs of the Dragon
- Maester Mickon, played by Mikhail Sen. He is a maester at the Red Keep assisting Grand Maester Mellos.
- Captain Randyll Barret, played by Frankie Wilson. He is a captain of the City Watch of King's Landing, a friend and a lickspittle of Prince Daemon Targaryen.

- Willem Blackwood, played by Alfie Todd. He is a suitor to Rhaenyra Targaryen. He is based on Samwell Blackwood from the books.
- Jerrel Bracken, played by Gabriel Scott. He is a son of Lord Humfrey Bracken and a suitor to Rhaenyra Targaryen. He is based on Ser Amos Bracken from the books.
