The Lives of Four Kings is a book written by Grand Maester Kaeth about the lives of four Targaryen kings; Daeron I, Baelor I, Aegon IV and Daeron II. There were only four copies remaining written in Kaeths' hand when Tyrion Lannister gave one of them to King Joffrey I as a wedding gift. King Joffrey then carved the book up with his sword, which leaves only three copies remaining. It barely mentions the reign of Viserys II, who ruled after Baelor and before Aegon.[1]
