Sandor is brought before Lord Beric Dondarrion, where he defeats the Lightning Lord in a trial by battle. However, Sandor's gold is confiscated and the Mad Huntsman is sent to buy grain south of the Mander with the gold, accompanied by Greenbeard.[3]
