Mag Mar Tun Doh Weg, better known as Mag the Mighty, is something of a chieftain among the giants.[1]
Character and Appearance
He has a grey pelt streaked with white. His mammoth had the same coloring and was larger than the other mammoths, denoting its older age.[2]
Recent Events
A Storm of Swords
Mag led the giants that were allied with Mance Rayders's Wildling army.[2] He led the assault on the gate at Castle Black, killing Spotted Pate of Maidenpool. Mag broke through the outer gate and entered the tunnel leading to Castle Black. Mag was met by and fought with Donal Noye in the tunnel. During the fight Mag crushed the spine of Donal Noye and Donal drove his sword into the throat of Mag, killing each other.[3]
