Grand Maester Ollidar was a maester of the Citadel. He later became Archmaester of Histories, whose Ring, Rod and Mask were bronze. He served as the first ever Grand Maester during the reign of King Aegon I.

History

Although he already had maesters of his own, in 5 AC King Aegon I Targaryen asked the Citadel for an Archmaester to advise him on governing the kingdom. The Conclave selected Ollidar; while exceptionally learnt, he was old and died less than a year after becoming the first Grand Maester.[1]
