Ondrew Locke, called "old Lord Locke" in the text, attended the wedding of Ramsay Bolton and Arya Stark (actually Jeyne Poole at Winterfell. Theon Greyjoy notes that the face of Lord Locke seemed bestial in the shifting light. He reminded Theon of a vulture. [3] Lord Locke is concerned about the endless snowfall affecting Winterfell. He was overheard saying that the gods have turned against them all. Cursing them with "a wind as cold as hell itself and snows that never end." Though a man sworn to Dreadfort countered that Stannis Baratheon was the one cursed, since he was the one stuck out there in the storm. While those at Winterfell at least had some protection. [4]
Lord Locke is last seen having breakfast, sitting beside Wyman Manderly. While Manderly ate sausages and boiled eggs, the "toothless" Locke had to content himself with gruel. When Hosteen Frey attacked Manderly with a longsword, Lord Locke started shouting for a maester to tend to the wounded man. Maester Medrick responded to his call. [5]
