Ser Owen Bush was a a knight of the Kingsguard.

History

Ser Owen was a member of the Kingsguard during the reign of King Maegor I Targaryen. When Queen Alyssa Velaryon escaped from Maegors imprisonment, Maegor ordered his knights to give her son to his torturers to discover where she is hiding. Ser Owen stated that the Prince may not know where his mother is hidden to which Maegor replied he will die then.[1]

When Queen Ceryse Hightower died suddenly, a rumour went around the castle that she had said something to offend Maegor and he ordered Ser Owen to remove her tongue but she had struggled so much that his knife slipped and he accidentally slashed her throat, though never proven this story was widely believed at the time, most historians believe it was a slander concocted by the kings enemies to further blacken Maegor repute.[1]

Ser Owen and his sworn brother Ser Maladon Moore seized Tyanna of the Tower when Maegor suspected her betrayal. When two of Maegors Kingsguard abandoned Maegor in 48 AC, Ser Owen Bush was found dead later outside a brothel, his member cut off and stuffed in his mouth.[1]
