Ser Raymont Baratheon was a knight from House Baratheon and a younger son of Lord Orys Baratheon and Lady Argella Durrandon.[2] He was a member of King Aenys I Targaryen's Kingsguard during the Faith Militant uprising.[1]
History
Ser Raymont Baratheon served in the Kingsguard when the Faith Militant rebelled against King Aenys I Targaryen in 41 AC.[1] Three days before King Aenys and his family were to set sail for Dragonstone, two Poor Fellows scaled the walls of the Red Keep and broke into the king's bedchamber to assassinate the king.[3][4] Only the timely intervention of Ser Raymont saved the life of the king.[1]
