History
Robert attended the tourney at Ashford Meadow in 209 AC[2] but did not participate in it.[N 1]
Family
His relation to the main branch is unknown. Robert may have been a second son as his personal coat of arms depicted two weirwood trees on a scarlet field.[2]
Notes
- ↑ Robert is not mentionned as being a knight, which is in keeping with the Blackwood's tradition of worshipping the old gods and rejecting Andals values such as knighthood. As this tourney was reserved for knights only (The Hedge Knight), it can be assumed Robert did not participate in the joust.
