Sabitha Frey was a Lady of the Twins. She was born into House Vypren and was married to Lord Forrest Frey.[1]

Character

Sabitha was considered merciless and grasping.[2] She is said to have preferred women over men.[1]

History

During the Dance of the Dragons, Lady Sabitha greeted Lord Roderick Dustin and the Winter Wolves at the Twins during their march south. Sabitha's husband, Lord Forrest Frey, was slain in the Battle by the Lakeshore.[3] Lady Sabitha seized Harrenhal three days after it had been abandoned by Ser Criston Cole and Prince Aemon Targaryen. When Aemond unexpectedly returned, Sabitha hid in a privy to escape Vhagar's dragonflame. She then returned to the Twins.[3]

Sabitha and her kin from House Vypren joined Ser Addam Velaryon for the Second Battle of Tumbleton,[4] and she participated in the Battle of the Kingsroad.[2] Sabitha and Alysanne Blackwood shared tents during the campaign.[5] The women joined the Lads in marching on King's Landing, where they were welcomed by the populace.[5]

Lady Sabitha later contributed six hundred Freys to the host of Ser Robert Rowan when he marched on the Vale of Arryn.[6]

Quotes

... sharp-featured, sharp-tongued harridan of House Vypren, who would sooner ride than dance, wore mail instead of silk, and was fond of killing men and kissing women.[1]
