Sara Snow was, according to Mushroom, a bastard daughter of Lord Rickon Stark and also a maiden who secretly married Prince Jacaerys Velaryon.[1]
History
By Mushroom's account, Jacaerys Velaryon, Prince of Dragonstone, fell smitten with Sara Snow when he arrived at Winterfell in 129 AC to secure the support of Lord Cregan Stark for the blacks during the Dance of the Dragons. Jacaerys lay with Sara for a night, and upon learning this, her half-brother Cregan became wroth, softening only when Sara informed him that the prince had taken her for his wife. She claimed they spoke their vows in the godswood of Winterfell, where she gave herself to Jacaerys wrapped in furs amidst the snows in the sight of the old gods.[1]
Questioning if Sara ever existed, Archmaester Gyldayn dismisses the tale as the fevered imaginings of a fool, questioning why Prince Jacaerys would break his betrothal to Princess Baela Targaryen for a northern bastard. Gyldayn concedes that bedding Sara would have been possible for Jacaerys but out of character, and that marriage would have been preposterous.[1]
Jacaerys and Cregan negotiated the Pact of Ice and Fire, after which Jacaerys departed Winterfell for Dragonstone. He died in the Battle of the Gullet later that year.[2]
