Sisterton is a town[1] located on Sweetsister, an island of the Three Sisters, in the Bite. The seat of House Borrell,[2] it is considered the most notorious smuggler's den in all of Westeros.[3]
History
Prior to becoming a smuggler's den, Sisterton was a pirate's nest.[4]
Layout
Sisterton is a vile town, a sty, small and mean and rank with the odors of pig shit and rotting fish. Its streets are mud and planks, its houses daub-and-wattle hovels roofed with straw, and by the Gallows Gate there are always hanged men with their entrails dangling out.[4] The Night Lamp, a lighthouse tower, and House Borrell's castle, Breakwater, are located at Sisterton. The Belly of the Whale is probably in the town as well.
