Soren Shieldbreaker is among the wildling leaders who accompany Tormund Giantsbane to the Wall in declaring a truce with the Night's Watch. His son is a hostage of the Night's Watch.[1] He is given the abandoned castle Stonedoor by Lord Commander Jon Snow to garrison and settle his own people.[2] He is present in the Shieldhall when Jon Snow announces the letter purportedly from Ramsay Bolton entitled 'Bastard'.[2]
