I think there’s a mistake here. Someone mistakenly extrapolated that because “Dragons have no gender” then a dragon told the prophecy, but this is not so. There’s no reason to believe dragon’s are able to speak or that they in fact made a prophecy. The only thing we can know is that as dragons are genderless so are some nouns in the language of the prophecy (which most likely is High Valyrian).

This theory page seems to be more about the Promised Prince prophecy, than about Azor Ahai. It has not yet been proven that the two prophecies are referring to the same person. Perhaps the information that is on this page which isn't on [[The prince that was promised/Theories|the promised prince theories page]] can be placed there, leaving room for this page to either be rewritten for theories on Azor Ahai, or be removed entirely.--[[User:Rhaenys_Targaryen|Rhaenys_Targaryen]] 19:20, 9 February 2015 (UTC)

Mistake about dragons making the prophecy

I think there’s a mistake here. Someone mistakenly extrapolated that because “Dragons have no gender” then a dragon told the prophecy, but this is not so. There’s no reason to believe dragon’s are able to speak or that they in fact made a prophecy. The only thing we can know is that as dragons are genderless so are some nouns in the language of the prophecy (which most likely is High Valyrian). Check this post by David J. Promised Prince

This theory page seems to be more about the Promised Prince prophecy, than about Azor Ahai. It has not yet been proven that the two prophecies are referring to the same person. Perhaps the information that is on this page which isn't on the promised prince theories page can be placed there, leaving room for this page to either be rewritten for theories on Azor Ahai, or be removed entirely.--Rhaenys_Targaryen 19:20, 9 February 2015 (UTC)
