The Teats are a pair of grassy hills in the disputed border area between Stone Hedge and Raventree Hall in the the Riverlands. The surrounding lands frequently change hands in the ongoing conflict between the Brackens and the Blackwoods. Situated between them is the village of Pennytree.

History

The hills looked like women breasts so they were known as the Teats or The Mother's Teats. Aegon the Unworthy dubbed them Barba's Teats in honor of his Bracken mistress (the mother of Bittersteel). A few years later, he renamed the hills for his new Blackwood mistress, Missy (the mother of Bloodraven). Blackwoods still call them Missy's Teats. The Bracken call them Barba's Teats.
