I must say that the previous layout looked much more clear than the current layout. These are now basically three templates into one, and if the main template collapses (a function that currently, and hopefully temporarily, only works once out of every 20 times), all three collapse, and need to be opened separately.

Secondly, I would also like to suggest removing the subheaders for "Targaryen Kings" and "Baratheon Kings". They all claim the same throne under the exact same name ("Kings of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men").--Rhaenys Targaryen (talk) 17:25, 22 June 2016 (UTC)

:Yeah, I prefer the previous layout too. Also, when fully expanded, the titles of the subheadings don't line up centrally with the main title (because of the v.d.e in the corner), which makes it look off. I'll switch it back, though I'll keep some of the formatting streamlining and various other formatting things that look nicer. --Mindset (talk) 23:40, 22 June 2016 (UTC)

Revision as of 23:40, 22 June 2016

 • I think we should move the 'Blackfyre Pretenders' as sub group of 'Targaryens', since they are a Targaryen house claimants? --Mor 09:57, 2 June 2012 (UTC)

 • Maybe we can add King Rob Stark and King balon greyjoy, not as claimants to the iron throne ofcourse but as separatists, who wanted to seed from it. --Mor 09:57, 2 June 2012 (UTC)

Done. Also added Euron. I have not added the King-Beyond-the-Wall, since the areas the title represents were never part of the Seven Kingdoms. User:Dimadick

 • I personally would also move Viserys, Daenerys, and Aegon VI to be rival monarchs under the Baratheon heading, as that is the era in which they claim. But I could see it either way. --Ser_Aeron_Connel 07:54, 7 June 2012 (UTC)

I separated the monarch by family lines, not era. They are kinsmen of the Baratheons but not actual members of house Baratheon. User:Dimadick

 • Very good. I like the template quite a bit actually, I never thought about the lack of it, but now that I see it I wonder how we got by for so long without one. --Ser_Aeron_Connel 17:01, 9 June 2012 (UTC)

Independance movements?

The Independance Movements, namely Greyjoy and Stark, take place within the seven kingdoms, but don't seek to be kings of the Seven Kingdoms. Since they do not seek to be kings of all of Westeros, are they appropriate to be here? I think not, unless the scope is changed to "People on Westeros Who Call Themselves Kings."

---

That is why I called it "Kings of Westeros" as in the continent. I wasn't the one who added the Seven Kingdoms to the name. --Dimadick 21:21, 8 June 2012 (UTC)

New Layout

I must say that the previous layout looked much more clear than the current layout. These are now basically three templates into one, and if the main template collapses (a function that currently, and hopefully temporarily, only works once out of every 20 times), all three collapse, and need to be opened separately. Secondly, I would also like to suggest removing the subheaders for "Targaryen Kings" and "Baratheon Kings". They all claim the same throne under the exact same name ("Kings of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men").--Rhaenys Targaryen (talk) 17:25, 22 June 2016 (UTC)
