Ser Terrence Toyne was a knight of House Toyne. He was a member of the Kingsguard during the reign of Aegon IV Targaryen.

Appearance

Terrence was regarded as tall, dark and handsome.[2]

History

Ser Terrence was found abed with King Aegon the Unworthy's mistress, Bethany Bracken.[1] Even though they proclaimed love, Aegon had them executed.[3] Toyne was dismembered piece by piece, while Bethany was forced to watch before meeting her own death.[4] Ser Terrence's brothers attempted to avenge him by killing King Aegon, but were stopped by Prince Aemon the Dragonknight who died defending him instead. They paid for their treason with their lives and in turn this event was key in the downfall of House Toyne.[5][6]
